Qualification - Minimum 15 - 20 years experience in drilling and completion related work with emphasis on robust quality assurance/quality control programs related to goods and services used in (sour services) drilling and completion operations. - Able to read and interpret a wide range of engineering drawings and schematics. - Able to provide engineering and training solutions to reduce the risk of structural and mechanical failure of down hole drilling, completion equipment, surface handling and a variety of specialty tools. - Possess ASNT (SNT-TC-1A and CP189) Level II in MT (Magnetic Particle), UT (Ultrasonic), VT (Visual Testing), ET (Eddy Current Testing) and PT (Liquid Penetrant) commensurate with advanced fatigue mitigation techniques. Knowledge in RT (Radiography) is also a plus. - Possess in-depth knowledge of welding, threading, and manufacturing codes as well as repair or service procedures/practices for surface and sub surface drilling and completion equipment. The above includes specific knowledge of and experience with OCTG work strings, such as drill pipe, HWDP, (non-magnetic) drill collars, casing, tubing and a host of other non-specified, but associated drilling and completion equipment. - Thorough knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining NDE equipment and service machinery common to the tubular inspection and service streams for new and used tools and tubular. - Extensive knowledge of the requirements set forth in the following specifications used in the evaluation and inspecting of the related equipment: Standards DS-1/NS-1 and NS-2 for Drill Stem Design and Inspection, IADC Drilling Manuel (latest edition), American Welding Society Section VIII (latest edition), NACE MR0175 (latest edition), Premium Threader Product (field evaluation of threads), API Specifications Tubular and NDE Inspection, EMDC Quality Manuals and other quality manuals of prominent industry providers (such as NOV/Grant Prideco, Halliburton, Schlumberger, Weatherford, Vallourec, Tenaris and so on). - Through knowledge in best practices and latest technology in areas such as industry standards and specifications (such as API and / or ISO 9000) for manufacturing, inspecting, storing and maintenance of oilfield equipment - Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment. - Good relationship management with all key stakeholders. - Willing to be a Wells team member wishing to embark on an aggressive implementation of Wells Performance (Improvement) Plans with milestones and targets that must be met. - Willing to work beyond the hour of duty if the activity so demands. - Fluent in written and oral English; being a Mandarin speaker is a plus Job Type: 28/28, Contract, 1 year renewable |
