Our Client is international owner operator in Vietnam. Currently they are looking for Senior Drilling Engineer who have an experience in HPHT gas well offshore to join there team. Job Description: - Responsible for all well planning and engineering design.
- Review and improve current Well Design.
- Participate in technical tender preparation and evaluation for D&C packages.
- Prepare detailed drilling programs & budgets.
- Supervise the development and implementation of Well Operation Manual.
- Supervise the development and implementation of Well Operation Manual.
- Supervise the development and implementation of Well Operation Manual.
- Ensure COMPANY HSEQ standards and procedures will be followed during drilling operation.
- Monitor contracting implementation for equipment and services.
- Monitoring the quality and measuring KPI (Key Performance Indicator) of all parties involved in the operation such as operator, rigs, service companies, logistics and etc.
- Tracking and controlling cost of all drilling-related operations and their compliance with budget and AFE.
- Supervise the preparation of drilling reports and final well reports.
- Coordinate with other team member from other department within the company to ensure the delivery of technical well objectives.
- Coordinate logistic activities to ensure no delay to drilling operation.
- Support Drilling Superintendent & Drilling Manager for daily operation.
- Develop and maintain close relations and good communications with relevant personnel from CLIENT, CLIENT’S contractors and other Oil Companies.
- Develop young engineers within the department.
Skills required: - 10 - 15 years experience in drilling (engineering/operation)
- Strong knowledge of HPHT Well Engineering
- Strong knowledge of HPHT drilling processes and procedures
- Longer experience with HPHT projects is preferable.
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record in applying performance drilling concepts.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments.
- Preparedness to take decisions and accept responsibility.
- Experience in guidance and supervision of personnel.
- Fluency in the English.
- Good communications skills, team oriented working style.
- Familiar with all Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with Landmark Drilling Softwares
- Valid Well Control Certification for Surface Stack
Package: - Net USD Day rate (local full tax compliance)
- Monthly living allowance
- Mob/demob: Lump sum base on location
- Annual leave allowance: Lump sum per annum base on location
- Residential with 22 days unpaid annual leave and national holiday
- One year contract with possible renewable
- Commencement date: ASAP
